SWISS-Belhotel International is adding to its portfolio of managed properties in Vietnam after signing an agreement with Times Garden Vietnam JSC to launch Swiss-Belhotel Suites and Residences Ha Long Bay.
Comprising 50 Shop Houses and 236 Residences, the development will occupy a prime location by the newly built Clock Tower overlooking the Ha Long Bay UNESCO World Heritage site. The property will open in two phases with 3 floors of accommodation and shop houses scheduled to welcome guests in Q1, 2018 and the 1, 2 and 3 bedroom Residences set to open by Q1, 2019.
According to Chairman and President of Swiss-Belhotel International, Gavin M Faull, said the new development in Ha Long Bay is a clear indication of the strength of the country’s fast growing tourism industry. Swiss-Belhotel International, a global hotel chain is expanding rapidly in Vietnam.

He also mentioned that the 5-star Swiss-Belhotel Suites and Residences Ha Long Bay will offer a full range of modern conveniences, including king-size and Hollywood-twin beds, bathtubs and showers, refrigerators, crockery and utensils, LED TVs with cable channels, mobile door locks, laptop-sized safes and free Wi-Fi.
“The hotel will feature two swimming pools including one for kids, a spa with massage therapies and a fitness centre, along with a Jacuzzi and whirlpool. To showcase the international heritage of the company, Swiss-Belhotel Suites and Residences Ha Long Bay will also have a dedicated boutique to feature Swiss culture and products,” he said.
Faull explained that dining choices will include an all-day eatery, 24-hour room service, a lobby lounge and bar, a pool bar and a specialty restaurant. In-house laundry and dry-cleaning services will further add to the convenience of the stay, and a dedicated Business Centre will appeal to corporate guests.
Meanwhile Vice chairman of Quang Ninh People’s Committee, Le Quang Tung who graced the event, expressed confidence in Ha Long Bay as a world class destination and also emphasized the importance of partnerships.
